Materials Testing

Materials such as polypropylene fabrics and lift strap webbings which are used in the manufacture of AmeriGlobe bulk bags are tested to insure they meet the strength and performance requirements. Materials specifications are established and monitored by both materials producers and AmeriGlobe production facilities to ensure that finished bulk bag's meet the safe working load requirements of the end users.

AmeriGlobe has two UV Testing machines running continuously to verify that the fabrics and webbing we use has sufficent UV protection.

Selected bulk bags are top-lift tested to destruction at production sites to further insure that customers' safety needs are met while independent testing laboratories are utilized to perform the regiment of performance tests required by the U.S. D.O.T and UN for bulk bags which are manufactured for the transport of regulated hazardous materials.
