Bag Refurbishing Does your company's green initiative match your usage of bulk bags? Virtually every bulk bag is recyclable. At the very least your company can recycle them, but with AmeriGlobe's refurbishing program you can go a step further and reuse them. Wanting to help the environment is a good goal, if it can be done safely. AmeriGlobe's focus when designing our system was on the safety of our team and yours. To protect our team we do not refurbish any bags that contained hazardous chemicals and our operators use the appropriate safety equipment. Every product’s MSDS is reviewed before we even perform a test run on a new product. To protect your team we inspect every bulk bag after it is cleaned to ensure that it is safe for another use. Sometimes the bags have to be repaired. When this happens we record the repair in our custom tracking software. This software will automatically reject bulk bags, when appropriate, based on a predetermined set of criteria including items like:
The data that is used to reject bulk bags based on the above criteria can be exported to reports detailing the inspection results of a particular lot, the history of a particular bulk bag, statistics on a specification, and many more. |
