The rigid sides of drums are great and necessary for fluid products, but in most cases they just add unneeded costs. These costs come in many forms including, increased unit costs, higher freight costs, and increased warehouse costs.

Our drum bag typically weighs less than two pounds, reducing your freight costs. After all, why pay more in shipping because your packaging is heavy. The flexible nature of our packaging allows us to put 200 empty bags on one pallet. If you are receiving drums, it likely takes a third of a truckload to hold that many.

One of the main obstacles to a successful drum bag was the fact that while drums are freestanding, normally flexible packaging is not. Our drum bag is different. It is designed to be freestanding and to function like a drum in most cases. A drum bag can be emptied from the top or bottom. We have features to make it easy to lift by hand or by forklift. They can be moved in groups via pallet or via optional loops.

Unlike drums, we size the drums bags specifically for the needs of your products. Since we make drum bags to fit your product we can also add print in a cost effective manner.

After the bags have been discharged they can again be compressed for disposal. If you choose to help the environment, the drum bags are recyclable. Whether you choose to recycle or landfill, drum bags require significantly less space.
