Types of Bulk Bag Styles
Standard Bag Styles - AmeriGlobe manufactures all of the standard bulk bag types such as U-panel, modular, 4-panel and baffle bags.
MegaBase - The patent-pending Octagon is a bag design to greatly improve bag stability and it also adds to the bag's capacity. The stability increase is so dramatic that in most cases it will successfully replace more expensive baffle bags.
FreePac - The FreePac with integrated BagPal technology is designed to allow bulk bags to be used without wooden pallets, especially to avoid the expense of heat treating the pallets for export shipping. The patented drop down portion of the bulk bag increases the FreePac's overall stability when stacked and adds volume to the bulk bag, making it more efficient for shipping and storage than other packages.
Stacker - The Stacker uses vertical sidewall tension to stabilize the bulk bag's load. This tension keeps your product 'in line' as it travels down the road or as it sits in your warehouse. It reduces your damage claims, increases customer satisfaction and saves you money by lowering your packaging cost!
FreeStanding Drum Bag - The FreeStanding Drum bag requires no support to fill making it the perfect replacement for the heavier, less efficient fiber drums. This style can be lifted from the bottom by pallet, from the top by the loops, and by hand from the handles. A truck load's worth of empty drums can be replaced by two pallets of FreeStanding Drum Bags.
Drum Bag - This bag combines the best aspects of the bulk bag and the barrel and is desgined to replace barrels. Drum Bags save warehouse space. One hundred empty Drum Bags easily fit on one pallet. Only four drums fit on one pallet. The Drum Bag has fantastic handling characteristics. It can be handled on a pallet like drums or from above by the handle. Drum bags can be moved one, two or four at a time using the handle. Discharging a Drum Bag is easy. Instead of clamping the barrel in place or pouring the barrel, simply suspend the bag over your receiving area and pull a string.
Portabulk - This bulk bag design uses all of its fabric to generate strength instead of just using the lift loops as in traditional fibc design. The Portabulk® bag can hold 3,000 lbs. of product with a 5 to 1 safety factor, allowing it to lift more weight with lighter material and lower bag costs. The easy to use single pick-up eliminates the need for pallets, saving you additional money and space. The single point lift also eliminates the needs for bridles or stevedore straps, but still facilitates overseas shipping.
